A Kentucky native, our founder Cynthia Bohn grew up on a tobacco farm. She developed a strong appreciation for culture around wine—how it brought people together, how closely it was connected to the land, and how vines, once planted, could produce grapes for decades with the right care.
Equus Run has six acres of estate-grown vines which are cultivated and harvested to produce our wines year after year.

The EQUUS Film & Arts Fest Literary Corral is a special section of the EQUUS Film Festival dedicated to celebrating equine-themed literature. It provides a platform for authors, publishers, and readers to connect and explore a wide range of books, from fiction and non-fiction to poetry and children's literature, all centered around horses. The Literary Corral often features author readings, book signings, panel discussions, and opportunities for attendees to discover new literary works and engage with their favorite authors. It's a vibrant hub for anyone passionate about both horses and the written word.

The Equus Film & Arts Fest celebrates the art of storytelling through film, literature, and art. Join us to explore a unique selection of films, art and literature that showcase the bond between humans and horses.
Every horse has a story, it’s our mission to share those stories, through film, art and literature.
